Cancel Subscriptions Purchased on Apple TV/iOS/iPad

This article describes how to cancel a PlayNowMedia app that was purchased directly through Apple (iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV)

Option 1 – Through Settings (iPhone or iPad)

  1. Open Settings

  2. Tap your Apple ID name at the top

  3. Tap Subscriptions

  4. Select the subscription

  5. Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial)

If you do not see a Cancel option, the subscription may already be cancelled.

Option 2 – Through the App Store (iPhone or iPad)

  1. Open the App Store

  2. Tap your profile icon (top right)

  3. Tap Subscriptions

  4. Select the subscription

  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Option 3 – On Apple TV

  1. Open Settings

  2. Go to Users and Accounts

  3. Select your account

  4. Choose Subscriptions

  5. Select the subscription

  6. Choose Cancel Subscription

Important Notes

  • If cancelled, access typically remains active until the end of the current billing period.

  • If the subscription was purchased directly through the app’s website or another provider (such as Stripe, PayPal, or Amazon), it will not appear in Apple Subscriptions and must be cancelled through that provider instead.

For purchases made directly on your Apple device or App Store, Apple manages all subscriptions, credit card transactions, and personal payment information. Apple respects users data privacy, and as such, PlayNowMedia has no access to your financial data or purchase information.  All purchases made through Apple must be cancelled through your Apple account. All refund requests must also be managed through Apple. PlayNowMedia can only process subscription cancellation and refund requests for subscriptions purchased directly on the app website (example:  povhorror.com or wickedhorrortv.com).
