Cancelling Subscriptions Purchased on a Fire TV Device

This article describes how to cancel a PlayNowMedia app that was purchased directly on a Fire TV device using the credit card saved on your Fire TV (Amazon) account.

How to Cancel your App Subscription

1. Log into your  Amazon account from a PC

2. Navigate to "Memberships & Subscriptions" (see screenshot below). Select the channel you want to cancel from the list and choose the "Manage Subscriptions" option.



3. Select "Turn off auto renewal" to cancel your subscription.  If you are terminating your account during a free trial period, your credit card should not be billed.

For purchases made directly on your TV streaming device, Amazon manages all subscriptions, credit card transactions, and personal payment information. Amazon respects users data privacy, and as such, PlayNowMedia has no access to your financial data or purchase information.  All purchases made through your Fire TV device must be cancelled through your Amazon account. All refund requests must also be managed through your Amazon account. PlayNowMedia can only process subscription cancellation and refund requests for subscriptions purchased directly on the app website (example:  povhorror.com or wickedhorrortv.com).
